Mind Mapping
Below is a promotion from Mindjet’s Mindmanager illustrating the many uses of mind mapping.
Mind Mapping applications permit you to link and layer:
- images;
- lists;
- notes;
- charts;
- Web links; and
- files
in any format (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDFs, etc.) in these maps. You can assign action items, add icons to highlight key information, and automatically alert participants when an update to a map has occurred. And map content can be exported to a Web page, Word outline, etc.
Below is a YouTube video by Jeff Conklin, Cognexus Institute, illustrating the form and function of Dialogue Mapping. Dialogue Maps are often built off of Issue Maps, which are created following the same process.
